What Is A Giclee?
Giclees ( JEE-clay ) comprise a set of breakthrough digital, media and ink technologies for reproducing fine art. The image quality is so high, the color and detail, the look and feel of each reproduction are often seen to be identical to the artist's original, even by the artist! Accepted by museums, galleries and fine art collectors around the world, owning a Giclee is the next best thing to owning the original.

What Makes It Archival?
Giclee technologies afford extreme longevity. According to independent testing laboratories, Wilhelm Imaging Research for example, you can expect your fine art Giclee prints to last for generations. Burns' giclees use only brilliantly colored, stable, UV-resistant, pigmented inks and archival, lignin free, pH neutral, 100% rag, watercolor paper and, in the case of canvas, high quality, archival fabrics and coatings.

-The paper used is a 100% archival, lignin free, pH neutral, 100% cotton rag and weighs 355 grams per square meter.

-The master, the production techniques, the proof and each giclee were approved by Ron as pledged by his signature on the Certificate of Authenticity included with each giclee.

We know that properly framing a valuable paper limited edition can be confusing and is almost always expensive. Let us simplify the framing process of your Burns' paper piece! Our framing* includes an attractive, acid free 2" off-white mat (matted to show Ron's signature and edition number), acrylic glazing (no glass), acid-free backing, a 1 1/2" black frame and is 100% archival. Each framed piece comes fully assembled with a wire and wall-hook. Literally, all you need to enjoy your brand new, framed Burns paper piece is a hammer and wallspace!
